Wycliff Services have successfully completed the installation of a brand new Diesel Tank at the NHS Blood Donor Centre in Birmingham. This was done by first creating a new concrete base for the tank, then by creating and installing a new bolt-on steel frame for the tank to sit on. Then tank was then installed onto the framework via a Hi-Ab. Once the tank was in position, new accompanying pipe work was installed connecting the pre-existing diesel generator to the newly installed tank. The diesel from the old tank was then transferred safely into the new tank as to prevent contaminants, the old tanks pipework was decommissioned, and then the old tank and its accompanying framework was removed for disposal.
