BMW Coleshill Restaurant Refurbishment Project

Tuesday 30 April 2019

In March 2019 we were asked by BMW at Coleshill in Birmingham to refurbish their restaurant and serving areas. The original installation was dated and there was issues with the acoustics. We quoted and were successful in gaining the order for over £100,000.

The project focused on reducing the acoustic levels and increasing the energy efficiency of the restaurant, as well as providing a more modern feel for the area.

The actions taken was the removal of all of the existing flooring, ceilings, and furniture to install a new, up-to-date feel for the restaurant area. This was achieved by installing new acoustic panelling, electrical rewire and SMART lighting, as well as the manufacture and installation of purpose-built furniture and ceramic flooring to allow a degree of working environment within the restaurant and decoration.

The challenges were to carry out this work while still allowing the restaurant to serve takeaway food only.

Shown below are some images of the newly refurbed restaurant areas as well as the concept drawing.
